Speech and Language Therapy Fees
Assessment
To help guide intervention and to get a baseline of communication skills we carry out an assessment. Our assessment prices range from €250 to €400. If you also require a report, this would be an extra €80. We also ask for a non-refundable €100 deposit when booking your child in. This €100 will then be deducted from your assessment fee when paying.
Below are the standard fees for speech and language assessments.
Articulation Assessment – €250
A structured assessment focusing on speech sound production and clarity. This evaluation identifies specific articulation difficulties and provides a detailed profile of speech development.
Informal Language & Play-Based Assessment – €300
An assessment using play-based and informal tasks to examine receptive and expressive language skills. This approach offers a comprehensive overview of language development.
Informal Language & Play-Based Assessment with School Visit – €400
An informal, play-based language assessment combined with a school visit. This allows for direct observation within the educational setting and contributes to a more complete understanding of communication and language use.
Therapy
We offer three different therapy times to cater to different needs:
30 mins:€70
45 minutes: €80
1 hour: €90
Advice session
Sometimes you just need to get some advice. Online or in person advice sessions can be given. These are sessions one to one with the parent only. A 45 minute advice session with written advice is €150.
Clinical Supervision
We offer 45 minute supervision slots for €100.
Letters
If you need a letter for another professional or school, this can be done at a charge of €35. This is a single sheet letter. If you require more information, this would require a report.
Discounts and refunds
Did you know that speech and language therapy fees for children are tax deductible? To avail of this you will need to get a MED 1 form and keep all receipts.
Most insurance policies also cover some Speech and Language Therapy. Check with insurance provider about your policy. All therapists are fully compliant with health insurance company requirements
Booking appointments
Due to the demand for our services we advise booking in your sessions after your assessment sessions if you wish to be guaranteed consecutive/weekly sessions.
Cancellation
There is no charge on cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice.
There is a 50% charge on cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice.
There is a 100% charge on sessions which are missed with no notice given.
